1. Scope<\/strong>
The acc\u00e9nt language school (Humboldtstra\u00dfe 10, 04105 Leipzig) offers language courses for private and corporate clients. The following terms and conditions apply to the conclusion of and participation in language courses conducted by the acc\u00e9nt language school.<\/p>

2. Registration and Conclusion of Contract<\/strong>
2.1 The contract is concluded via registration in the designated online form, registration documents available at the school, or by word of mouth, telephone call, or email. However, a legally binding agreement only comes into effect upon dispatch of the invoice and our confirmation, or upon commencement of the course\/training.
2.2 Registration obliges payment of the full course fee before the course begins.
2.3 The language school is entitled to accept registrations even after the course has started. In such cases, a proportionate reduction in the course fee may be made, depending on the circumstances. However, there is no general entitlement to a reduction.<\/p>

3. Payment Terms<\/strong>
3.1 Payments can be made in cash, by card payment on-site, or by bank transfer to an acc\u00e9nt language school account.
3.2 Payment must be made immediately upon receipt of the invoice. Should no payment be demonstrably made or a separate payment date agreed upon, the participant shall forfeit their right to participate in the course.
Transaction costs incurred at the time of payment must be borne in full by the payment service provider.
3.4 Reimbursements for missed sessions in a group course are not permitted.\u00a0
3.5 A course confirmation will only be issued after full payment of the course fee has been received.<\/p>

4. Organisation of Language Courses<\/strong>
4.1 A lesson (hereinafter referred to as \u201eLS\u201c) is 45 minutes long.
4.2 The minimum number of participants for our group courses is 2 people. If the minimum number of participants is not met, the acc\u00e9nt language school may cancel the course. If this happens, the course fee will be refunded in full. Alternatively, a reduction in the daily teaching units or an increase in the course fee may be agreed upon.
4.3 With a reduced number of participants, down to 4 people in the intensive or semi-intensive course and 3 people in the evening course, there will be a reduction in the number of teaching units per course day. This applies to
Intensive courses: 4 teaching hours instead of 5 teaching hours
\u27a2 Semi-intensive courses: 2 *UE* instead of 2.5 *UE* per day.
\u27a2 Evening classes: 2 teaching units instead of 3 teaching units
The course fee will not be reduced.
4.4 Should the premises be closed by order of the authorities or for the safety of participants, lessons may be held online.
4.5 The acc\u00e9nt language school employs teachers who master the language being taught as their native language or at a native-speaker level. There is no entitlement to lessons with a specific teacher. We are entitled to change teachers.
4.6. We reserve the right to reschedule the start and end of the course if necessary. Furthermore, we reserve the right to change the course times if necessary. If uncoordinated changes of the aforementioned kind lead to the customer being unable to attend individual training sessions or the entire course, they shall have the choice of replacement training (in the case of group training: only on the condition that corresponding further courses take place) or (if not only a single appointment cannot be attended) the right of extraordinary termination or a claim for a pro-rata refund of the course fee. These rights shall not apply if the customer has agreed to the changes. They shall also not apply if the customer does not point out the difficulties that arise within one week of being notified of the changed training times.
4.7. In the case of individual training, the client may cancel appointments agreed with them up to 24 hours on a working day in advance in particularly justified individual cases. For a course appointment on a Monday, cancellation must be made by 1 pm on the Friday beforehand at the latest. If it is a course appointment after a public holiday, it must be cancelled by 1 pm on the day before the public holiday at the latest. In this case, an alternative appointment will be arranged. Appointed times that are cancelled after this deadline or not taken up without cancellation will be charged without exception.<\/p><\/div>

5. Withdrawal from contract, cancellation, rebooking<\/strong>
5.1 Withdrawal from a course must be in writing.\u00a0
5.2. The contract is concluded for a fixed term. Ordinary termination is therefore excluded. Termination without notice on grounds of a special fiduciary relationship under \u00a7 627 of the German Civil Code (BGB) is \u2013 to the extent legally permissible \u2013 excluded. Any right to extraordinary termination for other reasons remains unaffected.<\/div>
5.3. Cancellation within 14 days of registration via our online registration form, or upon simultaneous booking of a replacement appointment, will waive the cancellation fee.<\/div>
5.4. If the booked course is not cancelled in good time (less than 14 days after online registration and at least 14 days before the course starts), a cancellation fee of 10% of the course fee or a maximum of \u20ac100.00 will be charged.
5.5. In the event of late cancellation, less than 14 days before the course start date, the acc\u00e9nt language school reserves the right to retain the full course fee.
5.6. By registering on the premises of the acc\u00e9nt language school, you do not have a statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with \u00a7355 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
5.7 In the event of non-attendance at a booked course, there shall be no entitlement to a refund of payments already made.<\/div>
5.8 If the course is cancelled by the acc\u00e9nt language school, no cancellation fees will be incurred.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
6. Visa-related provisions and course organisation (Visa courses)<\/strong>
6.1. Once the course confirmation has been issued and sent, participants cannot cancel the contract.
6.2. If the visa application is rejected, acc\u00e9nt language school is obliged to refund any deposits already made, minus a flat-rate processing fee of \u20ac100.00. The prerequisite for a refund is the submission of an official rejection notice from the relevant German mission abroad or the responsible immigration authority, etc.
6.3. If the originally scheduled course start date cannot be met due to a visa not being granted in time, a one-time free postponement of the course start by up to four months is possible. Any further changes to the date are permitted for an administration fee of \u20ac50.00.
6.4. Attendance is compulsory. Absence without a valid and substantiated reason on four consecutive days or for 60% of the course duration is considered a significant absence. In such cases, the acc\u00e9nt language school reserves the right to notify the relevant immigration authorities of the absence from lessons.\u00a0<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>

7. Value vouchers and discount codes<\/strong>
7.1. Value vouchers and discount codes do not apply to pronunciation training and conversation courses.
7.2. The gift vouchers can only be redeemed with an invoice amount of \u20ac350.00 or more.
7.3. Only one value voucher and one discount code can be applied per booking per person.
7.4. Gift vouchers and discount codes cannot be used in combination with each other.
7.5. A full or partial cash refund of the voucher or discount code is not possible.
7.6. Value vouchers are excluded from returns.
7.7. A voucher can only be redeemed upon presentation of the original signed voucher.
7.8. The value voucher is valid for three years from the date of issue.<\/p>

8. telc Exams
<\/strong>8.1. The telc examinations will be held at the Sprachschule acc\u00e9nt Leipzig premises (Humboldtstra\u00dfe 10, 04105 Leipzig).
8.2. The online pre-registration for a telc examination is solely for the initial data collection and does not constitute a binding reservation of a place in the examination.\u00a0
8.3. Registration is binding and takes place exclusively on-site at the acc\u00e9nt language school (Humboldtstra\u00dfe 10, 04105 Leipzig). A place in the exam is only considered reserved once the full participation fee has been paid.
8.4. Registration must be completed no later than 15 days before the examination date.
8.5. If the participant is prevented from taking the exam for health reasons, cancellation can be made by submitting a valid medical certificate no later than the day of the exam. In this case, a cancellation fee of \u20ac80 will be charged.
8.6. If a subsequent correction of personal participant data is required towards telc gGmbH due to incorrectly completed forms, we charge a processing fee of \u20ac40.
8.7. Furthermore, the following apply the examination regulations of telc gGmbH<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0
8.8. On the day of registration and on the examination day, a valid identification document must be presented. A copy of this will be made and kept for the purpose of unique identification.
8.9. Personal valuables must be kept in the provided lockable lockers and must not be taken into the examination room during the examination.\u00a0<\/p>

9. Applicable Law<\/strong>
